These babes have officially hit their ONE YEAR mark! Yay!
Hailye & Zach have done it all with me; engagements, bridals, wedding, and now their first anniversary. I lovelovelove photographing them because they’re so natural and so loving. Even when I put my camera down for a split second, they’re right there laughing with each other the entire time.
Mrs. Rose reached out to me a few months before our session and said she wanted something really industrial, and boy did I find the perfect place. The Fox & The Narwhal Studio is owned (and lived in!) by another Fort Worth photographer who was gracious enough to rent us her space for the hour. MASSIVE warehouse style windows to let in all the natural light, white walls, stained concrete floors, BOHO decor, and a cool kitchen… what more could you want in a place? I loved it so much that I actually came home and told Marc that we’re moving to one of the available lofts. Get this: I EVEN CALLED THE APARTMENTS!! If you know me, you know that talking on the phone gives me crazy anxiety (not sure why, but c’est la vie), so clearly I was smitten. Sadly, I never heard back from the loft management, so I guess we’ll just keep doing what we do in Benbrook 😉
Even though the space didn’t belong to the Roses, Hailye brought a few of their own personal items to make it feel more like home–their every day coffee mugs and a cute little letter board to commemorate the occasion. The rest of the session included copious amounts of snuggles, thumb wrestling, and reliving their First Dance. It was really special!
Congrats, lovebirds! One year down, forever to go.
